Service Description

This class will encourage actors to connect with monologues and enable them to choose contemporary and classical monologues. We will learn what contrasting means and why it is essential. We will work to build audition techniques and choose monologues to build an audition portfolio and why it is necessary. The course will look at acting techniques (Chekhov, Hagen, and Stanisvlasky), and the work will look at their influence on today's acting methods. This course is encouraged (but not required) for students who want to pursue acting at the collegiate level. Students are asked to send a self tape of a monologue to the instructor, Mr. Worley, before class so he can evaluate what each student will need for class. For students aged 13 years old to 18 years old. This camp includes a snack and all learning materials are provided. Please read our handbook carefully and understand all our policies.
