Intermediate Ballet

Service Description

Held every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30, students will learn ballet vocabulary, compile a warm-up, comprehend barre work, recognize beats in music and how to count with them, understand each position, comprehend correct posture, understand proper stretching techniques, understand different styles of ballet walks, and perform a showcase at the end of the session. Please have your students wear or pack comfortable clothing, suitable for lots of movement. Class Attire: To optimize movement and ensure comfort during class, students are encouraged to wear snug-fitting athletic clothes. Ballet shoes, such as canvas pairs from Bloch, are recommended but not required. Hair should be secured in a ponytail or bun for a polished and focused dance experience. Young men can wear comfortable shorts or athletic pants with T-shirts. This Teen Ballet and Dance Exploration class promises to be an enriching and unforgettable experience. There is a 10% discount for all siblings, and if students sign up for multiple programs (must pay in person to receive a discount).
