Service Description

Need some help with school work? We've got you! With our JBC tutoring, our tutors will work with students to improve their skills and help them with homework and questions regarding classroom material. Bring all materials needed for class (homework, notes, computer, textbooks, etc.). ***Tutoring sessions are one hour only. PLEASE book at least one day in advance*** Any students under the age of 16 MUST have an adult present with them during the session, they CANNOT be left at the JBC without a parent/guardian present. At the end of the session, you can book your next session with the tutor. PLEASE read the tutoring agreement before booking your first session. Please book one session before booking multiple so the tutor can confirm they are the right fit for the student. Expectations of the student The student will bring all materials required for their tutoring session (homework, notes, computer, textbooks, calculator, etc.). -The student will show up to their session on time and leave when the session is complete. -The student will do their best to learn from these sessions and improve their skills. -The student will be expected to engage in their own learning by communicating with the tutor. Don’t be afraid to ask questions! -The student will be respectful of the JBC facility, tutor, and JBC staff. Expectations of the parent/guardian -The guardian will stay on JBC property during the session if the student is under the age of 16. -The guardian will not expect their sessions to continue without confirming with the tutor first. -The guardian must keep communication with the tutor about cancellations or rescheduling. -The guardian is responsible for payment for the tutoring sessions.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are fully refundable if cancellation is made before the program registration is closed: 2 days before the program begins, for summer camps, the Wednesday before the camp begins. If cancellation is made after registration is closed, only 50% of the registration fee will be refunded unless otherwise noted by the program description.
