  • Computer Literacy for Adults

    Held every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00, Computer Literacy for Adults is an After Work program for ages 18 and up. Does your computer sometimes intimidate you? Does it sometimes cause you to scratch your head? Does it sometimes even scare you? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, we have a course that might interest you! The course will be conducted in an informal setting by two non-judgmental instructors. We will not adhere to a rigid syllabus but will cover such topics as: • A tour of the Windows 11 Desktop • Using the File Explorer to organize your photos, music, and documents • Choosing and using a browser • Becoming comfortable with email • Using your home wireless and wireless hotspots • Staying safe online • Getting the most out of search engines • Understanding and working with documents, spreadsheets, and presentations • Choosing and buying a computer If these topics pique your interest, who not consider joining us as we explore them together?   • Musical Theatre for Teens: Spring

    With the foundation in place, students will shift into full production mode, rehearsing for a full-scale production, to be performed the first two weekends of June 2026. From auditions to final bows, students will experience the entire production process while continuing to refine their skills and build lasting friendships. This Spring students will be working on: 🧽🎭 SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition 🎶🌈 Get ready to dive under the sea with one of the most joyful, high-energy musicals ever brought to the stage! SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition is a bold, colorful, ensemble-driven show packed with unforgettable music, dynamic choreography, and characters that let every performer shine. This class will guide students through the full musical theatre process — from learning vocals and choreography to developing characters and building confidence onstage — all while working together to bring the world of Bikini Bottom to life. With its message of friendship, optimism, and believing in yourself, this show is as meaningful as it is fun. Perfect for teens who love to sing, dance, act, and collaborate, this production is designed to challenge performers while celebrating creativity and teamwork.   • Beginner Ballet

    Held every Monday from 3:30 to 5:30, this upbeat and welcoming class introduces students ages 8–14 to the foundational techniques of ballet while adding the fun and flair of jazz choreography. Whether your dancer is brand new or has a little experience, this class is perfect for building confidence, coordination, and creativity. Students will learn proper ballet vocabulary, posture, and technique alongside the energetic rhythms and expressive movements of jazz. Our supportive environment encourages self-esteem, teamwork, and a strong work ethic—all while making new friends and having fun! Dress Code: Snug-fitting athletic clothing is recommended. Ballet or jazz shoes are encouraged but not required. Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail or bun to help dancers stay focused.     Whether you're looking to gain confidence, be more spontaneous, learn about improv, or simply have fun, this 8-week class is for you. You'll learn hands-on exercises that will encourage you to think on your feet and sharpen your wit. The class is sure to be filled with laughter and positivity. No experience necessary; Ages 18+

  • Theatre for Adults

    Held every Friday from 6:00 to 7:00, Theatre Basics for Adults is our first After Work program for ages 18 and up. Participants will learn about the basics of theater and exploring different aspects of theatre. We encourage them to learn more about the local theatrical opportunities and how to be involved. This class is for all interests of theatre and will include lessons on acting, learning how to stage hand, practice with costume design, lessons on stage makeup, and even building a set! This class is designed to be a catch-all for anyone interested in learning about theatre. Please keep any eye on your emails, important information is shared regularly! This course will progress in each class, a new topic being covered. You can sign up for one class, two, three, four or even all five!   • Drama Society

    This all-in-one theatre class is perfect for students curious about all aspects of the stage—on and off! Held every Friday from 3:30 to 5:30, this semester-long course introduces students to the fundamentals of theatre while exploring a variety of theatrical genres. Whether you're dreaming of the spotlight or more interested in what happens behind the scenes, there's a place for you here. Students will rotate through lessons in acting, stagehand skills, costume design, stage makeup, set building, and more. This course is designed to be a catch-all for aspiring theatre artists of all interests and experience levels. Our 2026 Spring production is Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder, based on the beloved children’s book series by Barbara Park. In this fun, family-friendly comedy, Junie B. Jones is having a rough week. She’s about to lose her first tooth, and somehow everyone has been invited to a birthday party except her! As Junie B. navigates school, friendships, and the big emotions of being an “almost six-year-old,” students will bring her charming, witty world to life on stage. Throughout the semester, students will build confidence, teamwork, and foundational acting skills while rehearsing for a fully staged straight play (non-musical) performance at the end of the session.   • Computer Club

    Held every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30, students will work on their own Piper computer for hands-on STEAM education. Each student will use their computer to go on Minecraft missions that will teach them how to build circuits that control LEDs, buzzers, and a variety of sensors.   • Collaborative Storytelling

    Held every Friday from 3:30 to 5:30, students will utilize the popular tabletop role playing game Dungeons and Dragons to guide a group of students through the process of storytelling in a collaborative game of improvised adventure. We will use techniques from literature and the visual and performing arts to weave together an imaginary world in which to tell new stories. We will collaborate on a map of the world and each student will flesh out a corner that they call home. Students will learn how maps are made with an understanding of geography and cartographic elements. From this world, each student will bring forth a character based on the environments and cultural customs they choose. Students will spend time writing backstories, personal motivations and defining the visual look and style of their characters. Once the game begins, students will embody their characters, utilizing improvisation and acting, while venturing forth to confront challenges, have fun and achieve greatness.   • Acting Out

    Acting Out! is an energetic and expressive theatre class where students dive into acting fundamentals through scene work, games, character exploration, and movement exercises. Young actors learn how to use their voice, body, and imagination to bring stories to life on stage. The class emphasizes confidence, collaboration, and creativity, giving students the tools to perform while also building valuable life skills. Whether your student is brand-new to acting or already loves the spotlight, Acting Out! offers a welcoming space to learn and grow. The Spring 2026 semester will conclude with a production of Finding Alice by Dianne Ffitch, a stage adaptation of the Lewis Carroll Alice in Wonderland stories. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, students enrolling in Acting Out should be comfortable reading a script and practicing line memorization.     This yearlong musical theatre intensive is designed for passionate and driven teens ready to grow as performers and collaborators. The class is divided into two semesters: Fall Semester (September–December): Whether you're aiming for the spotlight or looking to sharpen your stage presence, this class is all about leveling up. Students will explore the building blocks of musical theatre—acting, movement, and vocal performance—with an emphasis on stage professionalism and ensemble collaboration. You’ll get hands-on experience, personalized coaching, and the chance to push your craft further in a supportive, fun environment. The semester wraps with a December Showcase where you’ll perform standout scenes and musical numbers that show how far you’ve come. Perfect for performers who are ready to grow, challenge themselves, and shine.
