This class is a basic hatha yoga class, incorporating relaxing breath work, deep stretching and gentle movement. This is a donation based class and all donations go to the June Bug Center.

Julie’s style to teaching yoga emphasizes the value of each

individual's unique sensitivities & perspective. Incorporating breath,

restorative asanas and subtle body adjustments in her classes

she invites and inspires you to play, move and express a practice

as unique as you are, uplifting your mind, body and spirit. She has her 200 hr in Hatha Yoga from the Breathing Space and a extensive certifications from Asheville Yoga Center.

Asana, meditation, nervous system rest, and connection.

Sarah has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 25 years. She is a 200 YTT, children's yoga teacher and certified mindfulness teacher as well as a sangha and board member at Great Tree Zen Temple near Asheville, NC. 
Sarah is also a potter, cyclist, and mother. Her favorite moments usually involve family,  mountains, laughing, and tea.

Mary has been a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher since 2003. Her yoga classes reflect 25+ years of study in anatomy and physiology as a holistic health practitioner.
Participants are guided in a dynamic and disciplined class integrating: mindful movement (asana), alignment (anatomy of bone and tissue for safe practicing and development of a quiet mind), awareness practices (meditation), sound (chanting, harmonium, voice, dharma teachings, Sanskrit, musical soundtrack, silence joyful mood aligned with intention, 
Bhakti), somatic awareness (following sensations, embodiment principles), deep relaxation (resetting the nervous system as to polyvagal theory), and community (gathering with a like minded purpose, Sangha)

NO preregistration needed.

This class begins focused inward, complete with a grounding meditation + intention setting, that slowly builds outward, and ends with a reiki-infused savasana. Valerie is an energy worker (Reiki Master) and 230+ hr Yoga Teacher. She offers each class as a mini-ceremony to help you feel grounded + vibrant in your body in the middle of each week. Expect a healthy mix of reverence, playfulness, curiosity and sacred space.
