Service Description
Held every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30, students will work on their own Piper computer for hands-on STEAM education. Each student will use their computer to go on Minecraft missions that will teach them how to build circuits that control LEDs, buzzers, and a variety of sensors. Students will also spend time learning to code using Pipercode. Please keep any eye on your emails, important information is shared regularly! Tuition is based on a sliding scale. Please see our tuition chart in our handbook to see if you qualify for our reduced tuition. If you would like to apply for reduced tuition, please complete the Reduced Tuition Application. For the 2026–2027 programming year, we’re introducing a “Pay It Forward” option as part of our semester tuition. By adding an additional $50, you directly support our scholarship fund and help ensure that the June Bug Center remains accessible to all students across the New River Valley. We hope you’ll see it as we do—a simple way for those who are able to give a little extra to support families who may need it.h
