The June Bug Center for Arts and Education (JBC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing music, performing arts, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) through ongoing, affordable afterschool programs, classes, private lessons, and community theatre productions to the New River Valley community. Our programs are shaping the future leaders of our community, sparking interest in their future endeavors, and encouraging early career development and enthusiasm. Our sliding-scale tuition and scholarships ensure that no child is turned away due to finances. We are proud to offer 13 different classes throughout the school year for students ages 7 to 18. Our summer camps are a huge hit: our 2023 summer had 16 summer camps to choose from with 121 students, 65 of whom chose to take multiple camps! This Fall 2023, we have 127 students each week throughout 11 different programs, offering each student a snack before their 2 hours with us. We are very proud of our talented students and we realize that none of their growth and experiences would be possible without the care and support of people like you.
